Aboriginal people and Torres Strait Islanders

• The Koorie Youth Council is the voice of young Aboriginal people and Torres Strait Islanders in Victoria.
• The Koorie Heritage Trust protects and promotes the Aboriginal culture of South Eastern Australia and works to. It offers cultural awareness training, tours and exhibitions to help bridge the cultural gap between Koories and the wider community.

 Disability

• Youth Disability Advocacy Service (YDAS) supports and advocates for young people with disabilities.

 Diversity

• The Centre for Multicultural Youth (CMY) supports and advocates for young people from refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds.
• Spectrum Migrant Resource Centre (MRC) provides advice, training and support for newly arrived and established migrants and refugees

 Education

• Victorian Student Representative Council (VicSRC) can help you make change happen in Victoria’s secondary schools. It’s a student run, organised and initiated organisation.

 Grants and funding

 Law and legal issues

• Youthlaw works for justice for young people under 25 through legal services, education and law reform.

Music and media

• The Push is a non-profit youth music organisation. They run a bunch of music-related programs and events including Push Over and FReeZA.
• SYN is a media organisation run by a community of young people that provides training and broadcast opportunities for young Australians.

Peak bodies

• YACVic (Youth Affairs Council of Victoria) is the peak body and leading policy advocate on young people's issues in Victoria. For more info, check out YACVic support.
• VCOSS (Victorian Council of Social Service) is the peak organisation of the non-government social and community services sector. They produce submissions and reports on a number of community issues. 

Victorian Government resources

• Youth Central has loads of stuff - articles, reviews, news, advice, tips, games, competitions, podcasts, and videos. They’re always looking for new content from young writers so if you’re 16-25 and living in Victoria, check out how you can get published.

• The Office for Youth is the key agency driving a whole-of-government agenda in relation to Victorians aged 12 to 25. It’s responsible for policy advice, research and strategic planning relating to government policies, programs and service delivery for young Victorians. It’s also responsible for providing opportunities and channels for young people’s opinions to be considered by government.
• Vic.gov.au is the official Victorian Government website for Victorians, bringing information and services all together in one place. It has a full contact and services directory.
